How do you know which one to use when moving into a room? What determines the type of room entry (Flow/Button hook) Do you make that assessment based on what you can see from the threshold of the door depending on threats etc and if so what specifics would determine to use either or?

***When assessing the threshold the second time, from your right to left, you should've shouldered the rifle on your support side. Skip to the **3:25** mark on the video. The camera sees what the threat would see. Threat sees you and does NOT see your barrel/eyes (assuming you're using a "third eye stance", looking over your sights/barrel the whole time) which means you're in no position to engage, yet the threat is. Realistically, at that very moment, you're more likely a casualty then your threat is. I appreciate the video, but the devil is in the details. Stay safe, all🙏. ***

Your advice on the ruck packing is definitely misleading. First off a ruck definitely needs to be more than 50 liters. The sustainment load needs to fit in there. Which can be altered because of someone’s fieldcraft experience. But it’s still going to take room. It’s going to take up almost all of that pack and we haven’t even begun to look at team equipment. Do you mean assault pack instead of ruck? I don’t want to sound like some keyboard warrior but people are definitely going to get the wrong idea.

First rule of night fighting is to assume everyone has night vision. People need to practice passive aiming as active aiming just gives your position away. Also check all of your gear under night vision to make sure nothing glows.
